as i remmember, i saw this childrens show somewhere in the early 90s. it was a show with puppets. the show took place in a classroom. im not sure, but as i remmember, the teacher was a bird, and he teached a class of students. i remmember one of them being a talking clock, but im not sure if the talking clock was a student, or if im confusing with another show, but i still think that there was a talking clock. as i remmember, there was this segment where this bird teacher showed the students this live action footage of nature, like with some type of projector i think. anyway, im not sure if any of you will recognize the show that i am talking about, but if you do, can you tell me the name of this childrens puppet show?

  6. What would be a good ESL intermediate lesson plan for a 1 or 2 student ESL classroom?

    August 19, 2010, 3:42 pm
Unfortunately, I cannot find lesson plans for one or two student classrooms for ESL instruction. It is going to be used in a middle school classroom. I need about 20-25 minutes worth of activities to use during the class period. Also, I'm looking for a low intermediate lesson plan that is designed for a one or two student classroom for an elementary classroom, which will be used for about 25-30 minutes. Thank you for your help. I really need it! These lesson plans will be primarily used for reading or writing activities.
  7. How late should 9&10 yr. olds stay up until for a Birthday slumber party? Where 1 parent has to work early?

    August 18, 2010, 4:10 pm
How late should a group of 9 & 10 y.o. be allowed to stay up until when having a birthday slumber party? Especially if one parent has to work very early the next day? And if there is a toddler in the house and a 6 y.o. sibling who is also involved? I'd like the time everyone thinks is acceptable for that age group, and in the event that you think they should go to bed earlier due to the other factors I mentioned (dad who has to wake up very early for work the next morning & a 6 y.o. sibling wanting to be involved & a toddler), what time would you suggest then? Thanks. I'm particularly interested in what parents have to say, but anyone's answer is welcome. Thanks again. Thanks so far for the responses, but how late would you say is too late? Is there a point where no matter what the kids want, they should be asleep by?
